Wow, it is finally here

If you do nothing tomorrow except get out of bed and go vote your day will have been complete.  Please, vote.  I got an invitation for the Leveque after polls close gathering, I sure wish it wasn't so far, I sure would like to go.  After all my bitching about the party not supporting him, he is still neck and neck with a large undecided, historically the undecides go with the non incumbant, this could be the win of the century in Maine.  I will say a little prayer tonight that the voters shine on Jason tomorrow and we get the Congress we deserve, I guess either way we get what we deserve.  Onward to 2012 and maybe we can get this country back on the right track. 
 
There is a lot of talk about repealing the health care law, that would be nice, but I can't see how that can happen unless we change the President that believes so strongly in it and bet his and the democrats chances to get it, he lost, people don't want it and it was something that was clear well before they voted it in, they didn't care what we thought then, I think they are starting to care a bit.  Let us hope they don't squander the chance as they did in 1994.  It is the same old story as told by McCain, we went to change Washington and Wahington changed us, sad to say that is the way it works, there is too much money to be made and all of a sudden it doesn't matter what the people want when they have a chance to make millions.  Obviously this is unsustainable and quite soon if not changed it will bring the country down to the status of a 3rd world nation. 
 
WEll, I don't won't to babble to much, but get out and vote.

Change we must

As I look at what is happening politically, I am coming to conclusions that are not going to be popular, but just might be the truth.

What is standing in the way of the sweeping change we need to put this country back on track, it is the Republican party. As a card carrying Tea Party member, if there is such a thing, I thought like many of us did that working within the Republican party was preferable to risking a third party. I have since changed my mind about that issue and a third party is needed or major take over of the Republican party by us, the normal hard working people of this country that are getting the short end no matter which party is in control. I truly believe there is only one party, it is the Club that all the Political Elite belong to and reap the benefits from no matter how it hurts the country. You see they will always have theirs it is the rest of us that are vulnerable and the more vulnerable we become the richer they become.

Many of the real reformers that won the primaries in spite of the Republican parties kicking and screaming are getting no support, the support comes from you and I, I have never given so much in any political year, it is necessary, someone needs to support them.

In my state, Jason LeVeque would stand a good chance of winning the District 2 house seat from the incumbent Mike Michaud. Why is it then that he gets no support from the party. He isn’t part of the club and Michaud is, they would rather a club member no matter the party. LeVeque would have put up one hell of a fight and I personally have given to his campaign multiple times, but he is going to loose. Sold out by his own party. What this means is that nothing significant will happen during the next 2 years and the 2012 election will be a disaster for us, not for them, their life goes on untouched by their own ruthless leadership and in fact it will only make the club members richer and the others that try to implement change look insignificant.

A couple of months ago I was real hopeful that the country would get put back on the right track, today I am way less hopeful.

Who is telling the truth, apparently nobody

The other day I had an appointment at the VA Hospital to see one of the doctors. We live rather in a remote spot and getting close to things like T.J. Max is something my wife can not refuse. Some times I go in and look around a while but like most men I am not much of a shopper, I get what I came for and get out. So my job is the watch the car. I listen to very little of Rush, Sean and Mark these days, a few minutes once in a while to get a feel for what is going on. I clicked Rush on and he was doing his typical Rush thing, a commercial came on so I switched around and settled on PBS or Pravda USA as I call it. There was some Democrat I don’t know who raving about how great a job Obama has done in so little time. Of course that is a matter of opinion. How our status in the world is so much better, I doubt that is true and quite the opposite, but who knows maybe I am all wrong. How the stimulus is fixing the Economy, now I know this one, that is basically just a lie. Cap and Trade and all the rest of the Democratic talking points. Not one of them had a ring of truth to me. The polls are going more my way lately and even those that personally like Obama, don’t like his policies very much, what is new he was the most liberal Senator why not the most liberal President, as in socialist. So there was the long and the short of it in a couple of moments, Pravda and Rush. So where is the truth, I guess it all depends what you believe in. Rush isn’t a Politian but certainly makes his living in the political arena.

For better or worse, I have the feeling now that there is no real difference in the parties, they are both establishment and it is all a screen play for our benefit, while they rob us blind. Having said that I have given more this year to any of  the political candidates that I think are not part of the Washington establishment and hopefully won’t be. I refuse to believe it is the system that is inherently bad. I believe that the country was already off course when Obama took office and rather than the kind of change people thought they were going to get, they get the same old with spades. Even if all the tea party non establishment candidates get elected the leadership with still be Establishment and will push for business as usual and the word comes up again, gridlock, I think gridlock is a good thing, we would be 2 Trillion less in debt if somehow there was gridlock during the stimulus debate or health care for that matter. My Senators Snow and Collins want to make nice, they need to go. Actually Collins vowed only to run for one term, so much for her word. Collins once ran for Governor of our state and I liked her and voted for her, she has changed and not for the better since she went to Washington.

Some are saying this election is the only chance we have to save the country, I am not so sure it is going to matter very much, all bets are off once they see the color of the money and they become greedy and the country goes a little more down the tubes. They don’t care they will spend their time when the country falls apart in some island that all the politically elite will be welcome.

Serving your country as a Congress person was suppose to be an honor and not much money associated with it. I think the only way this will all stop is if we go back to that, give them just enough money to live and forbid them from making side deals that make them all wealthy, even when out of office if they take money from a special interest they should go to jail.  Guess what chance  that has passing our greedy congress.

In the mean time, I do have some hope and give to every candidate that I think has a shot at helping the country, that is pretty much my only criteria now, of course most of that is economic. If we get our economic house in order everything else will be easy.
 
Well that is my story and I am sticking to it.

Closing in

Believe it or not there is just about 6 weeks left before the midterm election.  Things are looking good but they could look better.  I found this article by Dic_k Morris quite interesting.
http://www.dickmorris.com/blog/goal-100-house-seats/  , interesting but not convincing enough to send money.  Every few days I get an email from Jim DeMint explaining  this or that candidate deserves our support and every time I sen a donation.  Dic_k Morris on the other hand, although I do apprceiate his writing, I don't trust him, he is one of the Politically Elite and looks at things very different than myself or even Jim DeMint.  It isn't important for that Republicans regain the house, what is important is the right people get elected.  Personally I think Political gridlock is great,  anytime you can stop action by the senate we keep some of our liberty.  The same day I get an Email from Jason Leveque who I want badly to see win in our Maine District 2, I gave once again to Leveque, I think I know what I am getting. 
 
Dic_k Morris thinking is part of the problem, he looks at the world through the two party system, and a Tax and spend Republican is better in his eyes than a Tax and spend Democrat.  I don't agree with that, if given the choice give me the Democrat, at least I know what I am getting and maybe it could lead to gridlock. 
 
So I encourage you to give to your candidates of choice, just make sure you know what your getting, you may be voting for the Status Quo and you don't realize it.

There is hope

I had to take a mental and emotional break from politics and I had time and the time is now to get back on track, I honestly don’t know how Rush, Sean, Mark and all the rest do it day after day year after year. I am back listening ever so slightly to them again, but nothing has changed. I put 7,000 miles on my Motorcycle, what a great way to leave the world behind, I sure love to ride.

Two years ago I sat in the cafeteria of the State House with several of the Republican Representatives, at the time I was excited about running Josh Tardy for the Federal House seat held by Michaud. My Rep, one of the best I am proud to say and represents my district Doug Thomas said he had too much money to run against ergo the lame candidates we have seen that seem to just want to say they ran for Congress. I am happy to say that Rep Thomas was wrong, Jason Leveque stands a very good chance of beating Michaud although it is still a rough battle. Michaud is not even our worst, of course Collins and Snow are. I am guessing that Snow will be sent packing in 2012 when she is up, like so many this year the incumbent cant’ win the primary. Why are things like this happening, it is because people are fed up and just are not going to take politics as usual and are smarter than the greedy Reps in knowing it is killing the country. This has manifested itself in the Tea Party Movement that grows in strength each day, Maine really isn’t a place that takes to rallies and I went to the Tea Party on April 15, 2009, I thought it was going to miss us, but I now know that Mainers are just not rally people and they are supporting the Movement with their votes and their money.

The longer it takes to get the old guard out the longer and harder it is going to be to fix this mess, although the Tea Party movement is smart enough not to start a third party, they are a force within the Republican power that will not be denied. Yes we all know the Republicans are just as bad as the Democrats, but that is being rectified, Ronald Reagun practically did it single handedly, wow think of what millions can do. It going to take 10 to 20 years to straighten this mess out, maybe more. With my health I doubt I will see the Endgame but it isn’t for I that I do this, it is for my grandchildren.

There is hope. But what is the best we can hope for? Spending levels that can be supported by a reasonable tax base, a balanced budget and pay down the deficit(to bad the government isn’t as forth coming about what they do with our money as they make the Credit Card companies do). This would have been a dream just 2 years ago, even though the country is going down the tubes, now it will be reality or the America we all grew up knowing will never exist again.

Are you ready for GM1, GM2 and GM3

GM in this case stands for Government Motors, they have managed to get their claws on two of the 3 American manufacturers, let us hope that ford can hold out.  This post is not political as such but has some overtones and a trend that is bothersome to people like myself who actually like cars and like cars with horse power.

I was looking at two $40,000 cars yesterday and the differences are striking.  The Chevy Volt, which gets good mileage no body knows just how good because just like every government lie, it can't even be calculated because it is electric, unlike the hybrids this car is made to run as an electric car with a dinky 1.4l engine that is something like the donut they now give you for a spare, enough to get you to the nearest garage to get you tire fixed or in this case to charge your battery, I suspect that battery charge takes 8 to 10 hours but no body is saying.  Un like the Smart Car AKA Stupid Car the Volt is actually a good looking car and it is hard to see what kind of payload it will carry or how it will perform with a full load.  I suspect neither will be good.  I can't even see how this car will have any value and GM saw it that way too and had no intention of marketing it until the government took them over, all of a sudden it is a good idea.  It was a bad idea when General Motors decided not the produce it and it is still a bad idea.  It has a 40 mileage range, "OH no Mr. Boss I can't take that job, it is out of range, I can only travel about 15 miles one way or I won't get home".  Well, you can get home but I can see trying to get on the highway with that motorcycle engine they are putting in them, at that point the electric stuff becomes a 400 pound payload with nothing to do but wait for a charge. 

On the other hand I was looking at Ford's Taurus SHO.  A very nice car we have a 2007 500 before they renamed it to the Taurus, that was a brillant marketing move the Taurus sold more and like people wouldn't notice it was the same car.  In any event our 500 is a 3L which has an adequate amount of power but not much reserve but it is such a great winter car with AWD, we don't use it in the summer but we certainly could with no problem, but we have an older rear drive for the summer that has real horse power.  They offered in 2008 a 3.5L in the Taurus that they were using in the Lincoln MKS which is a very nice engine offering 265 HP at 6500 RPMs very respectable and a lot more power than my 500.  But the  SHO has the same block but different plumbing and gets 345 HP at 5500 RPMs, not a mis print, this car must fly and gets 28 MPG.  The Volt has a 15 year payback if you can keep batteries in it which I doubt,  whereas the Ford will payback the first time you drive it without sacrifice and your boss will actually want to ride in your Ford.

When Obama was working "I am not taking over the car companies.. wink wink" it was clear to some of us this was the Statist chance to green our road ways with these make believe cars and here we are only a few short months later and they dust off a looser and will market it even if it has to come with a $10,000 bonus from Gov Motors.

The estimates are that 2% of the dealer transaction from "Cash for Clunkers" have been paid, if it wasn't so sad it would be comical.  We all know that the reason why they were not getting paid was Government incompetence so what do they do allocate another $2 billion, let us throw some more money away.  Another brilliant idea.  This was such a bad idea and nobody said boo and nobody even knew it was going through Congress.  I know the car business quite well, my friends tell me that the cars that they have to destroy are usable.  So again the very people that the Dems claim to be a friend, the poor, of are hurt.  This is going to drive up the cost of older usable cars, 250,000 have already been taken out of the market.  Even if they were bad cars there would have been many good parts, this can only hurt the used parts business.  The idea pushed some people into the new car market that never would have been there, I am wondering how many defaults this will cause?  I wouldn't want to be a car dealer in this situation, they are going to loose big time, the buyer goes out fat and happy while the dealer is left to collect from the government buearacracy, just one of these deals gone bad can cancel any profit from about 5 sales if not more.  Mark Twain was surely right, the only time we are truly safe is when Congress is in recess.  Not to mention the fact, why should I buy somebody a new car, I don't have new cars.

What can I do?

Many of you have asked me what else we can do to stop this meteor heading at a million miles an hour to ruin our country, if you haven't figured it out I am talking about the massive loss of liberty and by the people running this country.  Everyone knows they now want to take over health care as the next nail in the coffin of liberty.  We have made some progress but don’t let you guard down stay on it, call, write, talk keep doing it and doing it, they are hoping you will get discouraged and just give up, we can’t let that happen, there is too much at stake.

Senator DeMint is one of my hero’s in the Senate, a real fighter for freedom and the free market economy, we need about 50 more Jim DemMint’s in the Senate and about a 100 more in the House.  That change is coming, the polls have not been kind the socialist trying to take over our country.  But there is still so much work to do, not the least of which is to take back our school systems where they are places of learning not Social Engineering Propaganda factories.  These are all subjects for another day,  my real reason for this post is to let you know if you don’t already about the conference call tonight.  It may not be possible to get on they only have room for 3000 and I suspect those went really quickly.  But here is the information.  If I get on I will give you a complete review.

What if Obama was born in Kenya

It is highly likely that Obama is not a US citizen as he pretends to be every thing else, he is an imposter, well he is a possible imposter. My question is what does it gain us if we kick his rear to the street and are left with numb nut Bidden as our President.  I guess the good news is he isn't much of a leader and would be right off a lame duck getting nothing done, that is the good news and the bad news, what if we actually need leadership, would he provide better leadership than Obama.  Boy that is some horse race, neither has exhibited leadership skills and one might be just as bad as the other so I guess may be if that were the case Bidden would actually be better as a short term President and next time there is no doubt the country would have come to its senses and elected a good conservative.  Nothing like this has ever happened, I wonder if they would call the election null and void and have a do over?  That is an interesting question.  What about just letting McCain screw things up for a while, he isn't my choice but certainly there can be no one short of electing Rev Wright that would be a worse choice than Obama.  At least McCain for all his wachy ideas truly does love this country, I believe that.  Who knows maybe he would clean up Dodge and make our nations captital a place of representation again, I doubt it is possible in the short term, it would take 50 years or so of un interrupted fixing to make it better. 

What is more likely to happen is a cover up if in fact there is anything to cover up.  Most of his relatives say he was born in Kenya and there are now some documents to substainciate that claim.  Maybe he would not put the country through all of that and just step down, but you know he isn't that patriotic and will fight to the end to maintain power, I actually think he might refuse to step down if not re elected, Hugo Chavez style, his mentor.  Don't let the smile fool you, this is one dangerous man.

Just a thought, I am guessing even if it is found to be true, nothing will be done.

Martin Luther King's nightmare

Even though racism has all but disappeared here in the USA, the cries of racism from the Race Industry continue.  It fits their plan, fill you with undeserved guilt, make those that are not racist defend a negative with absolutely no proof.  This has been the game for years, it put the worst President ever in the White House and it is something that needs to stop if we are to survive as a nation.  Was there injustice and racism toward the Black man through the 1960's, no doubt and no defense, it was an awful part of our history, but it will only really become what it is history, when the Race Industry shuts itself down, their is nothing to rage against the machine for anymore, equality is there,  just take it, your opportunity awaits you and your only stopped by your own hatred not the hatred of others.  States rights are in question today as an excuse for taking all States rights away, when the FED was instrumental in keeping slavery alive in the form of Dred Scott Vs Sanford and other cases where the Supreme Court tread all over the constitution.  It was the States right to offer protection to escaped slaves not the FED's right to take away their right.  When someone offers the slavery argument for bigger government, tell them they don't know what they are talking about.  I often wonder if Slavery would have suffered a slow death and the Civil War been averted if the highest court had ruled differently and correctly.

The left has done a very good job of  labeling every conservative as a racist, nothing could be further from the truth.  We conservatives want everyone to succeed as far as their abilities will take them. If a person chooses to hang on the block and not prepare them self for life, that is their bad decision and not one forced on them, although I do blame the Race Industry for a lot of this, accusing people of acting white when they try to succeed.   We conservatives don't hate, but we do have enemies.  Big government is our enemy, the government that tramples on the constitution.  That included the XIVth amendment: "All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside".  By 1868 every State had ratified the fourteenth amendment.  That is not to say that there were not lingering affects of Slavery for many years after.  Our enemy is a Congress that has no sense of monetary policy and no idea how to fix an un broken economy, that would have righted it self by now if only left alone, this kind of mindlessness caused 12 years of misery and took what was a depression and made it the Great Depression.  I don’t see us faring any better if these mindless policies continue.  Our enemy is the voter proof  bureaucracy and the ever increasing Tzars to avoid the voter and Congress.  Our Enemy is the nationalization of banks and corporations like a 3rd rate dictator like Hugo Chavez.  The list of ways our everyday life and liberty is affected by these mindless drones goes on and on, from how much water your toilet uses, to choking your car engine so it can’t even get the gas mileage they pretend to want,  to 10% Ethanol which causes a 15% loss of fuel mileage, water would have worked just as well.  I can’t even watch TV anymore because of the idiotic Congress, not that there is much to watch, it still is the vast wasteland.  The list is endless and the sad part is we don’t even realize many of them any more, we have surrendered our liberty and now have forgotten what it was we had.

But as usual the Left always  needs a villain and in this case it is the conservative.  There was a time when special treatment was needed to turn the tide but those days are long gone, all anyone should expect is an equal playing field, the one that wants it the most and is willing to work the hardest will get the biggest rewards, that is the way our country works and the bases of its founding.   Obama’s lame redistribution of wealth ideas serve his purpose and make government bigger in the process, they get two for the price of one.  What we all get is poorer, not the poor get richer but we all will be poorer, even those that thought it wasn’t possible to get any poorer.  

I have an idea,  lets make it as uncomfortable for black racists as we have for white racist and then learn that we are all just people with strengths and weaknesses.  No matter who you are,  playing the race game is just a looser for all.

We need a leader

Yesterday on Hannity, Bobby Jindal was scheduled to be on, I assume he was, but Hannity does this to me all the time, says someone is going to be on straight ahead and an hour later your still waiting, unfortunately he was still saying that at when I turned the radio off so I didn't get to hear him.  I like him, he didn't have a very good showing during his first prime time appearance but I don't think it is fatal, McCain didn't get too far in 2000 either.  He is a good solid conservative and if at all possible I would like to see him in the white house, unlike our present guy, he has actually accomplished something and doesn't just talk like Ronald Regain like Obama but actually does it.

Romney, I still haven't figured out.  I am not sure if he acted more liberal than Ted Kennedy during those debates to get elected in a liberal state and would have done the opposite of Obama or otherwise.  I like what has become his public image, but that is all image, how can one figure out how they will govern given the chance?  Having said that he is light years better than Obama, that isn't saying much, my dog if I had one could do a better job than Obama.  I think Romney is still in campaign mode and you will see him again in the 2012 campaign. 

Rudy is just too New York for the rest of the country, although he did a terrific job in New York City, you have to look at electability and I just don't think he is electable.

Huckabee, just not my favorite, although I agree with a lot of his ideas, certainly better than any Dem candidate they can muster, if things continue, I don't think Obama will even get the nomination.  In which case he will do a Hugo Chavez and just refuse to step down, don't hear much about Hondoras, must mean they are doing well or the media would be all over it.  Frankly there is just something creepy about Huckabee.

Sarah Palin of course has to be considered, she is actually neck and neck with Jindal for me but I didn't think the NewsMax survey showed her very well if you really look at it.  What worries me is this was pretty much a Republican survey with 81% of the participants voting for McCain/Palin so I would expect her general approval to be high but if you read between the lines you will see she has  3% lest support from the 81% who voted for McCain, this doesn't look good to me, especially when most thought as I do that McCain was a perfectly horrible candidate.  This all could change to Palin's advantage but I doubt it, what you see is what you get with Palin, you either like her or you don't.

There is no doubt in my mind that the 2010 midterms are going to be a bloodbath and the good guys will win the day, that is good conservative candidates will pick up seats, not Snow's or Collin's but good ones and it just might be possible to take back one or both houses by 2012, it really is one of our best hopes to get things turned around.  A good candidate for President that doesn't mind taking the gloves off and hitting hard can win the White House no matter who they run, this communists thing just isn't working and there is time to catch it, but little time.

People seem to be waking up, a bit of buyers remorse.

According to Rasmussen, Obama at the moment has a -11 approval rating.  This is calculated by subtracting the strongly approved from the strongly disapproved.  In spite of the presses best efforts the actual truth about this Presidency is starting to hitting home.  The one thing that confuses me is the  hatred for Bush.  Below you will see that 54%  think Bush is responsible for our present Economic condition.  Much like FDR who pumped massive amounts of money into a sinking ship, Obama' plan to spend his way out of a recession is just not as what it appears, they know it won't work, they see it as a way of obtaining more power.   It worked for a while but some people are waking up, this recession with a little positive help from our government could have been over by now, a few tax breaks, especially for small business would have done the trick and not cost a penny, in fact would have brought revenue into not out of the treasury.  So the Dems have fully succeeded in demonizing Bush, history will show us something different, Obama couldn't shine Bushes shoes, not to say that he was perfect, far from it but he wasn't a disaster like this guy.

37% said that deficit reduction should be his priority.  Of course some of this comes from his own lies, while spending like a kid with a new credit card and talking about deficit reduction, people had to realize something was wrong with that picture.  It looks to me like there is a solid 25% that think that the Dems and Obama can do no wrong, we should be able to take back the white house and the Congress in a landslide it seems to me.  All this talk about the Republican Party in disarray, you will see conservative candidates all over this country being elected in 2010 and 2012, don't buy the hype.

  • 50 percent disapprove of Obama's performance.
  • 76 percent see Obama as liberal.
  • 48 percent see Obama as very liberal.
  • 54 percent primarily blame former President George W. Bush for America's economic woes.
  • 25 percent say the U.S. economy has been aided by the economic stimulus package.
  • 53 percent oppose the Democratic healthcare reform package.
  • 37 percent say deficit reduction should be Obama's top priority.
  • 20 percent say healthcare should be Obama's top priority.

    The poll is based on answers from 1,500 likely voters. It has a margin of error of +/- 3 percentage points.

    Stick with it

    Many of us made our feeling known about National Health Care and it seemed to have worked.  The entire Congress from Ted Kennedy to the newest member of the House needs to realize they are all vulnerable.  We are not going to put up with the it, we will not live in an totalitarian state, this is still America.  Keep it up, it isn't over they will keep coming at us with more and more of the same, the idea of National Health Care is not dead, just pushed back and we need to keep it back. 

    I read as much of the bill as I possible could put up with, I know why I wasn't a lawyer, most of us hate this stuff and they well know it, but you need to understand for yourself, not just what you are told, no matter how accurate you think the  source  might be.  What becomes obviously clear within a few minutes of reading this piece of crap is there is no way a private company providing health insurance could stay in business which leaves only the public option and eventually a single payer health care system.  It is the back door approach, but what else is new? 

    When you call your representative or any representative, I don't stop at mine own, because I can give to their opponents campaign as well as my own representatives, ask to speak to the Rep, of course that won't be possible, but insist on talking to a staffer not the operator.  In some cases they will want to argue with you, to which you say fine that is your opinion, but your job is to transmit my opinion to the Rep.  These arguing staffers really give me a problem, I wonder how many calls they ignore because it doesn't fit their feelings.  Even moderate Democrats are starting to feel the heat so keep the burner on, your country and the country you leave behind counts on us. 

    That's all, I haven't posted in a while, fighting a computer issue.  I don't find much to talk about that hasn't been said, but keep up the good work, write, email, call and keep it up, if its only 5 or 10 minutes every few days, it will make a difference.

    World unrest

    As our country continues to collapse under what comes close to a Totalitarian government, the world is uneasy.

    There are grumblings in Iran and the start of a fledgling Democracy and our President backs the Tyrants, we have to ask ourselves what would Reagan have done.  Of course he wouldn’t talk with the present Iranian government unconditionally or maybe not at all, he would be overtly and covertly working hard to install a Democracy for people who wish one.  Our President is a complete failure, he has made a shambles of our Economy that would have been well on its way to recovery, but now it is heading for double digit unemployment and most likely double digit inflation.  On the world scene he has gone around the world appologizing for me and I detest his actions, we have nothing to be sorry for.  He is a complete failure and so out of his league as a world leader, he is barely a world follower.  So he backs the oppressive government in Iran, I am not saying that the other candidate was much better, but the people of Iran thought so and that is what counts.  It is a start, something like the Declaration of Independence was a start.

    Now our President has instructed his Secretary of State to meet with the Tyrant that wouldn’t step down according to their constitution and our press is calling it a coup when it was up holding the peoples right according to their constitution.  This is typical for our Administration who have no regard for our constitution and trample on it every day, backed by the Congress and the Supreme Court who should be recognizing Tyranny when they see it.  Doesn’t a people have the right to protect them self from leaders who won’t step down, this is exactly what happened in Venezuela and the people of Hondorus well know it and don’t want it to happen there, I wouldn’t be at all surprised if Obama refused to step down, think about that, wouldn’t you feel the right to make him.

    Here is a thought folks, what if China all of a sudden decided not to do business with us, not only  don’t buy our debt but Walmart and every other store would have empty shelves like Soviet Russia, we don’t make anything anymore.  There is unrest in China, we should be speaking up for the injustice but we are so hooked on China as a supplier nobody is going to do it.  Isn’t it time to start making things here again instead of pushing business off shore or worse out of business.  We need to establish a better business climate not a worse one, it is FDR all over again, he also hated business and that depression lasted almost 12 years, there is a connection.

    We have ghosts of the very worst Presidents in this guy,  FDR and Carter.  Does wearing a sweater and having your house cooler sound a lot like use those stupid bulbs and we will be alright, not start drilling for our own supply, that would be too logical.

    There are two schools of thought on the 2010 election depending on whose side it making the statement.  One is that many seats in the House will be won by Conservative Republican candidates(notice I said conservative, having a Rino doesn’t help us) and the Senate would no longer be Filibuster proof.  Of course the other schools says just the opposite.  I think you will see Sarah Palin campaigning hard for conservative candidates in 2010 and in so doing will set her self up for a run for the Presidency(This is what Lincoln did for his brand new Republican party), I could be wrong.  It might be wishful thinking, but not only will she get my support, she will get my money and my time, I think she would make a terrific President.  What the press didn’t tell you is that Sarah Palin had trice the draw of Obama in fact I think she probably drew more than Obama and McCain together, she is very popular.  Of course she has here detractors, but they don’t matter, they are just a distraction and need to be ignored.  Obama’s number are shrinking fast and it just may be he won't  get the nomination, I would love to see Palin beat Clinton, now that would be a glorious day.  I suspect that Clinton will not last much longer so she can do the same and make a run in 2012.
