Congress is still in session, so it is hard to sleep soundly or they will slip something in that will cost you in one way or another. The house is debating right now after the 800 billion spending bill last week another 410 billion spending bill that will be much more by the time it gets through both houses of congress. So it isn't to soon to start lobbying your representative and stop this bill that is reputed to have 9,000 earmarks, the liar President of course said it doesn't have any, but his word is worthless. I haven't been able to get a written copy of the bill yet, I am still trying. They usually post them on C-span but haven't yet.
The Senate just voted on an amendment to restrict the FCC from implementing the "Fearness Doctrine", unfortunately I missed the final vote so I don't know what happened, I suspect like all other Republican amendments it was rejected.
