You don't have to be Nostradamas to see what is going on here. There simply isn't enough money earned in the country to pay for Obama's lame brain ideas. This is our immediate future. Lower standard of living and massive government control, it is clear there is no denying it.
However I have seen the future of the Republican party. His name is Bobby Jindal. His name started appearing about a year ago. Unfortunately, like McCain he tried to be too nice and tell goofy stories but he is a really good executive that is doing great things for Louisiana and would do great things for our country and maybe get us out of this mess. We have at least two rising stars that need to learn how to play the big houses, but that all comes with experience. His speech didn't seem to please anyone even conservatives. I am not sure why that is, he expresses good old fashion conservative views. I don't think it was his finest hour but he is still #1 on me candidates for President in 2012. We have seen what style over substance gets you.
Obama's speech was as antisipated, a bunch of promises he can't deliver on, I guess he just can't help himself. Here is the problem, you would have to tax 100% of 2008 incomes to pay for what he wants to do and then it still wouldn't be enough. Which leads to the question, who is going to work for nothing. There simple isn't enough money, not nearly enough, to pay for all of this by raising the taxes of the 3 million people who earn over $250K who already pay 62% of the nation's bill. You think there are no jobs now, wait until he raises capital gains and sends the remaining industry to greener pastures. It isn't that Obama is stupid, he just doesn't care what he will do to the country as long as it fits his political agenda. This is what banana republic dictators do.
I only hope that whatever is left in 2012 is enough to salvage our country and bring it back to sanity. At some point a lot of people, myself included, are just going to say there is no hope and move to a country that they feel is more prosperous, more like our country was at one time, there are still a couple, hell even China is more capitalistic than we are, but not exactly a free country.
I wonder if the people that voted for Obama have a clue yet on what they did. The reality will hit them some day soon. Any working person that voted for Obama just shot themself in the foot or even both feet and the bullet didn't stop there it hit all of us.
