The words of a person receiving my blogs, I am guessing they would choose to be dropped from the distribution which I will do. It is important that we stay vigilent and keep the flow of information that otherwise would not come our way by the main stream media. The time is now and not too soon to work toward a better result in the 2010 mid terms, in those states that can be changed, not the case in my state where Olympia Snow won't come up for reelection until 2012 and Susan collins 2014 and my democratic congressman just got in for another term in November. But there are ares that really could make a difference. I am sorry to say I was manipulated into the fray of the Rush/Steel thing. Although I read the transcript and he was difinitely negative toward Rush but I guess Rush's power made Steel aqueous. It doesn't make the party look very good, but we can't loose sight of the real issue, that is saving our country.
The only thing I am giving Obama high marks on is his decisions on the military presence in Iraq and Afganistan. Although decreasing the military budget by 10% is a stupid move but that could change. And of course closing Gitmo is a bad move but again it isn't a done deal yet.
What is a done deal is the 900 billion dollars to humas in the guise of helping the Palistines, it is clear that we might as well just give them the rockets that they will use on Israel and then they would have enough to buy a few real bombers for as long as it took for Israel to shoot them down. We have obviously turned the connor on our support for Israel. They are strong and hopefully will be able to survive without much help from us, but that still is a big question mark. I think rather than bringing peace to the region, Israel is going to strike back so hard to every attempt to destroy their country, we would have no real leverage. Thankfully Netanyahu is back in control and that is the best thing for Israel. I am afraid throughout the world where Obama is actually making decisions it is not going to play out well. All of this just means a more dangerous world and will make us a great big target again.... Could we as a nation made a poorer choice for a President, I can't see how. Even journalist supporters are starting to doubt that Obama is the best thing for the nation, soon he will actually come under actual scrutiny that until now hasn't existed in his campaign or his Presidency, I suspect that once they real come to face the fact that they have been lied to and used, the back lash will shock the white house, but unfortunately, the damage has already been done. It isn't normal for Washington to give back programs or power, but in this case I don't think they have a choice, the alternative is a country not worth governing. By now you have heard there are over 9200 earmarks in the so called Omnnibus, whatever that means, here is a small list of the over 9,000 that Obama is sure to sign into law as pay back.
Your hard earned money at work to pay back political favors.
I am not sure what it is going to take for people to just say enough is enough.
