People seem to be waking up, a bit of buyers remorse.

According to Rasmussen, Obama at the moment has a -11 approval rating.  This is calculated by subtracting the strongly approved from the strongly disapproved.  In spite of the presses best efforts the actual truth about this Presidency is starting to hitting home.  The one thing that confuses me is the  hatred for Bush.  Below you will see that 54%  think Bush is responsible for our present Economic condition.  Much like FDR who pumped massive amounts of money into a sinking ship, Obama' plan to spend his way out of a recession is just not as what it appears, they know it won't work, they see it as a way of obtaining more power.   It worked for a while but some people are waking up, this recession with a little positive help from our government could have been over by now, a few tax breaks, especially for small business would have done the trick and not cost a penny, in fact would have brought revenue into not out of the treasury.  So the Dems have fully succeeded in demonizing Bush, history will show us something different, Obama couldn't shine Bushes shoes, not to say that he was perfect, far from it but he wasn't a disaster like this guy.

37% said that deficit reduction should be his priority.  Of course some of this comes from his own lies, while spending like a kid with a new credit card and talking about deficit reduction, people had to realize something was wrong with that picture.  It looks to me like there is a solid 25% that think that the Dems and Obama can do no wrong, we should be able to take back the white house and the Congress in a landslide it seems to me.  All this talk about the Republican Party in disarray, you will see conservative candidates all over this country being elected in 2010 and 2012, don't buy the hype.

Other results of the poll:

  • 49 percent somewhat approve of Obama's performance.
  • 50 percent disapprove of Obama's performance.
  • 76 percent see Obama as liberal.
  • 48 percent see Obama as very liberal.
  • 54 percent primarily blame former President George W. Bush for America's economic woes.
  • 25 percent say the U.S. economy has been aided by the economic stimulus package.
  • 53 percent oppose the Democratic healthcare reform package.
  • 37 percent say deficit reduction should be Obama's top priority.
  • 20 percent say healthcare should be Obama's top priority.

The poll is based on answers from 1,500 likely voters. It has a margin of error of +/- 3 percentage points.
